The course will provide a general working knowledge of motor control circuits and components, the ability to read and understand motor control wiring diagrams, as well as the ability to trouble-shoot basic motor control circuits. The course consists of classroom instruction and practical application.

Level 1 Motor Control is intended for electricians and other technicians that install or maintain motorized equipment in commercial and light industrial applications.

The requirements to take this course are a basic understanding of electricity as well as some basic training experience working as an electrician or other related industry technician.
